Using Get It Now with your credit card

When a listing has a Get It Now price that’s higher than your credit balance, you have the option of supplementing your credits with a credit/debit card to win the item. For example: if an item has a Get It Now price of 100,000 credits and you have 20,000 credits available in your account, you can purchase the item by using your 20,000 credits along with a $2.90 charge on your credit or debit card. The exact dollar amount depends on the current credit exchange rate.

Some common questions:

When I use my card, am I buying credits?

When you use your credit or debit card with a Get It Now listing, you are still purchasing credits. Those credits are immediately transferred to the seller, so you may not see them in your credit transaction history.

Does the seller receive dollars or credits?

The credits that your credit/debit card are purchasing are instantly transferred to the seller, and so sellers continue to receive credits regardless of the buyer's payment method.

In the event of a refund, do I get credits back?

If you use your credit/debit card to win a listing and a refund occurs, Listia will automatically refund your card instead of refunding you the credits that you purchased.

Are there other methods of payment?

For members in our credit selling program, their available cash balance may also be used to pay for items.
