Why do I see a CAPTCHA form when I'm sending a message?

The CAPTCHA form will appear if you send too many messages in a short amount of time. The form is used to block automated messaging bots and spam. When the quantity of messages being attempted to be sent is reduced, the CAPTCHA form should go away as well.
