The buyer submitted their shipping address through an email, what should I do?

Notify the buyer to provide their shipping address through the Listia saved shipping address process only. The saved shipping address is the only valid method through which a buyer should provide his or her address to the seller. This is the only way to remain protected under Listia Assurance.

While messages can still be used for general communication between buyer and seller, they should not be used for sharing shipping addresses. In the event of a dispute, when we see that a buyer has not used the proper method for providing their shipping address, it is unlikely that the dispute will be resolved in their favor.
